The 9th annual Women of Oakwyn (WOO) event took place on May 8, 2025, at the Vancouver Club—bringing together a dynamic community of real estate professionals from across British Columbia. This year’s theme, Transformation,” encouraged attendees to embrace growth in all its forms: personal, professional, financial, and spiritual.

Oakwyn Co-Founders Morgan Browne and Arlene Chiang opened the event by welcoming a sold-out room filled with agents, leaders, and innovators. Reflecting on the evolution of WOO, Morgan Browne shared:

There are just some things you cannot put into words or describe—the energy in the room is simply felt. WOO has grown into not just a source of inspiration, but a powerful movement of women supporting and learning from one another, rising together to great heights.”

The event also introduced the 2025 WOO Choice Charity: Atira, an organization committed to supporting women impacted by violence. Its mission closely aligns with WOO’s goal of creating safer, stronger communities for all.

A Speaker Lineup Designed for Growth

WOO 2025 featured an inspiring trio of speakers who each brought unique perspectives on transformation:

  • Suze Cumming, founder of The Nature of Real Estate, led a powerful talk on negotiating with empathy, intuition, and strength—drawing from her industry-renowned AREN and PREN courses.

  • Lisa Carter, a financial strategist and mindset coach, unpacked the keys to transforming personal wealth and creating long-term financial confidence.

  • Alexandra Goldwell guided attendees through an inner transformation session, helping them reconnect with purpose and unlock personal power.

A Day of Energy, Connection & Elevation

From the moment guests stepped into the Vancouver Club, the space radiated connection. Agents from all across BC gathered to share experiences, support one another, and learn in a setting that fostered openness and authenticity.

Oakwyn Co-Founder Arlene Chiang summed it up beautifully:

The energy, kindness, and sharing never disappoint at a WOO event! I was thrilled to see tables of agents from all across BC joined to bring their unique perspectives to collaborate, interact and learn from each other’s experiences to transform in a positive way.”

WOO as a Movement

Beyond just a professional development event—with Self-Directed PDP credits available—WOO 2025 served as a powerful reminder of what can happen when women come together with intention and support. From inspiring speakers to unforgettable moments of connection, the day reflected the very best of the Oakwyn community.
