Held on Friday, January 31, 2025, at the JW Marriott Parq Vancouver, Oakwyn’s Sales Kick Off was filled with energy, inspiration, and recognition for the incredible work our partners and Oakwynites have contributed.
This event was more than just a celebration; it was a moment for Oakwyn’s community to come together, reflect on our successes, and gear up for what’s to come. The day was packed with inspiring speeches, surprise performances, and the recognition of the outstanding individuals and teams that helped make 2024 a year to remember. A heartfelt thank you goes to our sponsors: Wesgroup, and TD, for their generous support. Their sponsorships enabled us to create such a remarkable event and continue to provide incredible experiences for our Oakwyn family.
Celebrating 2024’s Successes
The event started with a warm welcome as Managing Brokers and partners greeted attendees and set the tone for the day, and a breakfast spread was provided by JW Marriott. With the excitement building, a surprise performance by a local breakdancing group, set the stage for the celebrations to come (and what a hint to the reveal of Oakwyn’s Theme of the year for 2025). As the crowd cheered, and the energy levels continued to rise, we were reminded of the incredible drive that fuels the Oakwyn family.
Recognizing Outstanding Achievements
The heart of the event was the recognition of those who went above and beyond. We celebrated Oakwynites who provided outstanding service in 2024. This included the: Sales Achievement Awards, Sales Excellence Awards, Top Producer Awards, Masters Award and the highly anticipated O Award.
Beyond the individual accolades, we recognized entire teams and special contributors.
Rookie of the Year: This award is given to a standout agent, one who is new to the industry and has proven their dedication to their craft. Congratulations to Oakwynite Cassandra Frederickson!
Breakout Agent: This title is awarded to the Oakwynite who has grown the most within Oakwyn over 2024. A huge congratulations to Deanna Lawrence for her growth over 2024!
Oakwynite of the Year: Coral Uster was titled the 2024 Oakwynite Of the Year! Coral has shown a complete love for the Real Estate Industry and community within Oakwyn. Helping other partners succeed, and attending every learning opportunity.
Oakwyn is so grateful to have these amazing individuals as a part of the community. These awards celebrate those who have made a lasting impact within Oakwyn, and we can’t wait to see how they grow over 2025!
Gratitude for Our Amazing Alliances
The success of the 2025 Sales Kickoff would not have been possible without the support of our incredible partners. Their commitment and collaboration played a pivotal role in making the event a reality, and we are incredibly grateful for their involvement.
A special thank you goes to our talented florist, Sunflower Florist who brought beauty and elegance to the event with her stunning floral arrangements. Romina’s attention to detail added a touch of class and warmth to the venue.
We were also honoured to have Atira, represented by Tannaz, as one of our alliances. Atira is fully dedicated to supporting women and providing safe avenues for the women of Vancouver. Atira is WOO’s (Women of Oakwyn), charity partner for 2025, and we look forward to working together to make a positive impact in the year ahead.
Oakwyn also announced a new partnership with PARKWYN, a new insurance brokerage that will be supporting Oakwyn’s team and connections!
A special shoutout to REACH, by Cam Walker & Co, who partnered with us to create “OakwynCRM – Powered by Reach” to help grow Oakwynite’s connections.
LEADINGRE, was also announced as an Oakwyn Alliance for 2025! LeadingRe will be working closely with the Oakwyn Team to provide new learning experiences and growth.
These alliances are vital to our continued growth and success, and Oakwyn cannot wait to see what 2025 has in store for all involved. Thank you to our partners for their passion, hard work, and community.
Looking Ahead to 2025 and Beyond
As the event concluded, the energy in the room was palpable. The “Breakthrough” motion graphic above, and the crowd buzzed with excitement for what lies ahead in 2025. The Mix & Mingle session that followed was the perfect way to close out the event, allowing partners to celebrate each other’s achievements, take photos, and collect their well-earned awards.
Reflecting on the day, it was clear that Oakwyn is a community built on collaboration, passion, and a shared commitment to excellence. The 2025 Sales Kickoff reminded us all of the power of coming together to celebrate our successes and inspire each other to reach new heights.
